PPR-CP

Peste des Petits Ruminants -Control Programme (PPR-CP) is a centrally sponsored scheme  under Livestock Health and Disease Control Programme, initiated for the first time during 2014. The Department is availing this programme from Govt. of India on 90:10 basis in for  procurement of vaccine to  carry out mass vaccination against PPR in Sheep and Goat, Strengthening of State ELISA laboratory, TA/DA, Hiring of vehicle, Information , Education and communication, purchase of animal identification health cards, equipment including consumables. During 2017-18, a total of 41910 nos. of vaccination were carried out against PPR .
